Due to our current growth in the production and dispatch of thousands of garments for several globally renowned brands, we are looking to reinforce our team with a Manual Textile Cutter.
What we are looking for:
- Solid knowledge in cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality control operations (mandatory);
- Proactivity, dynamism, and good communication skills;
- Strong sense of organization, responsibility, commitment, and teamwork;
- Problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities:
- Fabric preparation (spreading): spread the knit or woven fabric in layers on the cutting table, ensuring correct alignment, adequate tension, and pattern/grain direction;
- Efficiently position the patterns on the fabric to optimize material usage and mark the outlines with chalk or specific tools;
- Use scissors or manual cutting machines to cut the fabric following the marks, ensuring measurement precision;
- Organize and separate the cut pieces for sewing, ensuring that paired parts are correctly mirrored;
- Keep cutting machines and scissors sharp and clean to ensure safe and clean cuts;
- Check for fabric defects before and during cutting, ensuring the final product meets technical specifications.
Profile:
- 12th-grade education (preferred);
- Basic knowledge of English;
- Sense of responsibility;
- Strong orientation toward teamwork and achieving goals;
- Schedule flexibility.
